DB full Refresh of 9.2.0.5.0 version same OS version in different server                       Soruce                                                     Destination Server   Souce_serv Dest_ser Db name   Source_db Dest_db login user          oracle oracle Version 9.2.0.5.0 9.2.0.5.0 High Level Steps:- SL No Task 1 Take information about datafile,controlfile,redo logfile source_dev and Dest_ser 2 Make note of archive destination of Souce_serv 3 create copy of pfile and transfer to Dest_ser 4 Make controlfile to trace and transfer to Dest_ser 5 Prepare the transfer script for datafiles,controlfile,archive and redolog files 6 Commented the crontab backup jobs for Source_db and Dest_db 7 Make a note of the log sequence number and last archive log in Source_db 8 shutdown the Dest_db database 9 delete all the datafile for the Dest_db database 10 Make the Source_db database begin  tablespace begin backup 11 execute the transfer script in Source_serv 12 End the backup mode in the Source_db database 13 Change the controlfile appropriatly for Dest_db database 14 Make the appropriate change in the  pfile of  Dest_db 15 Change the controlfile parameter for Dest_db database 16 Start the db using new pfile in Dest_db database 17 Mount the database Dest_db database 18 recover  the database Dest_db database 19 Open the database in reset log mode Dest_db database 20 Make validation between Source_db and Dest_db 21 Enable the crontab backup in both servers for the databases
